Focus area 01 · Austin remodelers

Fast, well‑built websites for Austin‑area remodelers.

I design and build each site myself: your best projects up front, a quote form that asks the right questions, and pages that load fast on a phone. One fixed price, and you own all of it.

Why speed matters

Most remodeler sites are slow on a phone. Yours doesn't have to be.

People looking for a remodeler usually start on their phone, often right after a neighbor mentions your name. If your project photos take eight and a half seconds to show up, that's a long time to stare at a blank screen.

So I tested it. I ran 20 Austin-area remodeler websites through Google's mobile speed test and timed how long each one took to show its main image.

  • 8.5 secondsfor the typical site's main image to appear (the middle result)
  • 13 of 20took more than 6 seconds
  • 33.6 secondsfor the slowest one
  • 7 of 20came in under 5 seconds
  • 1.7 secondsfor Hollow Oak, my concept build, in the same test (the middle result)

All figures: Google's mobile speed test, on a slowed-down phone connection, run Sept 2026. "Main image" means the main photo appearing. Lab results, not measurements of real visitors. The sites tested aren't named.

Why the sites I build are fast

  • Plain, pre-built pages. No page builder or plugins assembling the page while your customer waits.
  • Photos resized for every screen and served in the smaller photo formats phones prefer.
  • Served from a fast worldwide network, close to whoever's looking.
  • Only the extra pieces a site actually needs. No pop-ups, no bloat.

Hollow Oak Design-Build

Hollow Oak is a made-up Austin-area design-build firm. I built its website so you can see exactly what you'd get before you spend a dollar.

It has project case studies showing scope, city, timeline, and budget range; a quote form that asks for budget and timeline up front; service-area pages; and a strip for your license, insurance, and warranty. Your site would be built on the same foundation, with your projects, your photos, and your name.

Hollow Oak is fictional. Its phone number, address, license, and projects are placeholders. Its photos are Unsplash-licensed stock, credited on the site.

What you own, from day one

Your web address
Registered in your name.
Your files
A copy of the site's files lives in an account you own.
Your content
You add new projects and drag in photos yourself, in a simple editor.
Where your site lives
The site runs on a fast worldwide network, in an account you own.

On their free plans, a site like this typically has no bill for keeping the site online. If your traffic ever outgrows them, you pay those companies directly, not me.

How a build goes

  1. Kickoff: a 45‑minute interview and a simple content checklist.
  2. Homepage design for your approval.
  3. The full site on a private preview link for your review.
  4. Launch.

Each approval is in writing. An email that says "approved" is fine.

Who builds it

Hi, I'm Brandon Delgado.

I design and build every site myself, from first sketch to launch day. When you reach out, you get me. When something needs fixing, I'm the one who fixes it.

I started Shipmind after testing 20 local remodeler sites and seeing how many made great work wait to load. Remodelers do careful, expensive work. Their websites should be built the same way.

I take one build at a time, so yours gets my full attention.
